Gadananathi River

The Gadananathi River originates from the Agasthiyar Biosphere Reserve and flows through the Tirunelveli District.  The towns of Ambasamudram are located on the left bank of the Thamirabarani River and Kallidaikurichi on the right bank, after which the Thamirabarani River meets the tributary Kadananadi River at Tirupudaimarudur.  The Gadananathi River joins the Kallaru, Karunayar, and Veeranadi rivers before merging with the Thamirabarani river.  It then joins the Gadananathi River 1.5 km to the northeast.
