Manimuthar River and the Dam

To Manimuthar Dam, the river and a portion of the water flowing from the Western Ghats near Kalakadu flows into this Manimuthar Dam.  And another part goes to the Pachaiyar Dam.  Due to the heavy rainfall in the Western Ghats, there is always water in this Manimuthar dam.
